The Foundation Board will review requests from the schools and teachers, for which school funding is not available, for such things as payment of expenses for innovative educational programs submitted by teachers; equipment needs such as computers, microscopes or other educational aids; or assistance to a needy student to continue to pursue academic awards at local, state or national levels.

Completed grant applications should be turned into the building principal for approval in sufficient time for the principal to deliver the applications to Beth Lint at the Central Office.

The grants will be evaluated and awarded based on academic excellence, innovative uniqueness and the number of students affected. Grant application forms will be available to all teachers in the Claymont School District.
